SubHelp ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our SubHelp mobile application ("App") on iOS devices. This policy applies globally and includes provisions required under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws.
The App does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Renewal reminders (if you enable them) are local notifications scheduled on your device; they are not delivered from servers we operate.
Your subscription data (subscriptions you track and your cancellation history in the App) and certain app settings are stored on your device using standard iOS storage (e.g., UserDefaults). In addition, the App uses Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Storage to sync that same subscription data between your own devices signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud enabled.
We do not operate our own servers for storing your subscription list. iCloud sync is provided by Apple; Apple’s privacy policy and iCloud terms apply to data processed through iCloud: apple.com/legal/privacy. If iCloud is turned off or unavailable, the App continues to work with data stored locally on the device.
For users in the EEA, UK, and other GDPR-applicable jurisdictions, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
You can remove subscription data and most App preferences (including currency, notification choices, reminder timing, and haptic settings) using Reset all data in Settings (within the App), or by deleting the App from your device. Data in your iCloud Key-Value store is managed by Apple and may persist according to your Apple ID and iCloud settings until you remove it or replace it (for example by resetting App data or managing storage through your Apple account). We do not maintain a separate copy of your subscription list on our systems. To exercise other rights, or to request a copy of any data we hold (outside what is on your device and Apple systems), please contact us using the details below.
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfil the purposes described in this policy. Locally stored data on your device remains until you delete the App, use in-app reset, or clear that data. Synced subscription data in iCloud Key-Value Storage remains according to Apple's retention and your iCloud account settings. For purchase and account-related data processed by Apple, retention follows Apple’s policies and applicable law (e.g., tax, dispute resolution).
Where your data is stored in iCloud, it may be processed on Apple’s infrastructure in various countries in accordance with Apple’s terms and privacy policy. If we transfer any personal data we hold outside the EEA, UK, or your home jurisdiction, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions) as required by applicable law, including GDPR.
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in some EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's security (e.g., passcode, biometrics). When iCloud sync is used, Apple secures data in transit and at rest according to Apple's security practices. We do not receive or host a copy of your subscription list on infrastructure we operate.
The App may integrate with:
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

If you are in the EEA or UK and have concerns we cannot resolve, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., ICO in the UK, CNIL in France, or your national data protection authority).
